Location
Located on Jamestown Island the visitor contact station is one mile from Jamestown's entrance station and the Glasshouse.

Closures
December 25 and New Years Day. Jamestown may close due to unforeseen weather conditions or power outages.

Special Programs
Seasonally: Pinch Pot Program, School Educational Programs, Living History Character tours, and year round Ranger Guided tours as staffing permits.

Available Facilities
In the visitor contact station is an information desk and museum gift store. Restroom are available at the footbridge just outside the contact station.

Location
Located along the York River Yorktown can be accessed by Eastbound travelers from the Richmond area via I-64, take Route 199 east, exit 242B, to the Colonial Parkway. Follow the parkway to its end. West bound Interstate 64 travelers from the Virginia Beach/Norfolk/Hampton area should take Route 105 East (Fort Eustis Boulevard east), exit 250B to Route 17 (George Washington Memorial Highway). Turn left (North) onto Route 17. Follow the signs to the Yorktown Battlefield.

Exhibits
Original 18th and 19th century earthworks, original 18th century buildings (Nelson and Moore Houses), Victory Monument, French Memorial and Yorktown National Cemetery (Civil War).

Film, information desk, museum gitf store, restrooms, Battlefield overlook and beach picnic area (open seasonally only).
