Clara Barton National Historic Site

The Clara Barton NHS is recruiting volunteers for our 2004-2005 program season. We have interesting positions available in our library, giving tours and assisting with school programs and museum projects. We also need volunteers to staff our special events and open house programs. Training is provided and our staff and current volunteers look forward to meeting you. Many exciting things are happening now including new research findings, restoration of two more rooms and a new Outreach program to area schools. 18 years of age and above welcome For more information, please call Park Ranger Bob Carns at 301-492-6245. Parks as Classrooms education programs are available for elementary school groups. Group tour reservations are required for groups of ten or more and are restricted to 30 people total.
