Catoctin Mountain Park offers a variety of educational programs for groups ranging from 1st through 7th grades. Please call the Visitor Center at (301) 663-9388 for more information or visit our web site. We also offer a program during the summer titled, "Misty Mount Kids" which is offered at Camp Misty Mount for visitors staying at Camp Misty Mount. Junior Ranger Program

 CATOCTIN MOUNTAIN PARK JUNIOR RANGER PROGRAM A self discovery workbook to be completed at the park Visitor Center and includes one trail activity. Park wildlife and cultural resources are explored through stories, fill-in the blank, puzzles, and games. A junior ranger badge will be awarded upon completion and review with a ranger of the workbook.The Junior Ranger Program promotes stewardship and protection of Catoctin Mountain Park, a unit of the National Park Service. Estimated time to complete the Program is approximately 1 hour for the workbook and 1 hour for the trail portion of the program. Ages 6-8 and Ages 9-11.
